Jack Nicklaus, considered to be the greatest golfer of all time with 18 majors and more than 70 PGA victories, is also one of the most prestigious golf course designers in the world. The «Great Golden Bear» has left his mark in the Region of Murcia on the Alhama Signature Golf course, the only one on the entire Mediterranean coast. It was Jack Nicklaus himself who thought, designed and supervised the works of Alhama Signature Golf, stamping his signature as the author when the course was finished in 2009.
History
Alhama Signature Golf was inaugurated in 2009, when the inimitable Jack Nicklaus gets involved in a project, it is because he is going to dedicate himself exclusively to its construction and this can be seen in Alhama Signature, where the molding of the course, the greens, the fairways, the vegetation, etc… are very well designed in order to meet the standards to carry the signature of Jack Nicklaus himself.
Golf Course
Alhama Signature Golf is considered one of the best golf courses in Spain. A very long and spectacular course, with 5 large lakes, 116 bunkers with very peculiar and varied shapes, original circular tees, wide fairways and fast greens. A whole field of first class.

The Alhama Signature Golf practice area has a large area for teaching and learning golf: putting green, short game areas and a wide driving range to practice long shots. An American-style course, with wide fairways, exquisitely shaped greens and 116 bunkers, it is a fairly long course, 6,884 meters from white.
An exciting tour. It requires a great mastery of all the clubs, especially the driver, a very demanding course for all types of players. Although all of its holes offer game alternatives, it is essential to think about the strategy for each of its holes, depending on the limitations or skills of each player.
Throughout the tour you can enjoy wonderful views of Sierra Espuña, the most popular mountain range in the Region of Murcia. Its desert-style landscaping is bathed with large areas of sand covered by the autochthonous flora and fauna of the Mediterranean area. A beautiful field that fills your eyes from anywhere.
